Colorado Hoodies, Sweatshirts, & T-Shirts
Colorado sweatshirts, t-shirts, & hoodies printed exclusively on premium garment-dyed Comfort Colors apparel. Vintage designs for the Centennial State, from the Front Range to the Western Slope.
Colorado Sweatshirts, 14,000 Feet and Counting
Colorado sweatshirts pull double duty in a state with 58 peaks above 14,000 feet and ski towns that run from November through April. The altitude changes everything here, from the temperature to the UV to the way a cold morning in Breckenridge can turn into a 60-degree afternoon by lunch. Every piece is garment-dyed on heavyweight Comfort Colors blanks that arrive soft and pre-shrunk. Our Colorado 1876 vintage hoodie carries the statehood date in a retro design that works from Vail to a Saturday afternoon on the Front Range. For more mountain town designs, browse our Boulder apparel.
Colorado Hoodies, Base Layer for the High Country
Colorado hoodies are standard equipment from the ski towns to the breweries along the Front Range. The air is thinner, the sun is stronger, and the temperature swing between morning and afternoon can hit 40 degrees. Our Colorado Buffs hoodie handles a chairlift or a couch with equal confidence, and the garment-dyed colors settle deeper with every wash instead of fading. The Aspen hoodie works at 8,000 feet and at sea level when you get home. Check out our Breckenridge apparel for more ski country.
Colorado T-Shirts, Trail to Taproom and Back
Colorado t-shirts get year-round wear in a state where 300 days of sunshine is not an exaggeration. Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, mountain biking in Fruita, floating the Arkansas River near Buena Vista, or just grabbing a beer on a Denver rooftop. Our garment-dyed Comfort Colors tees are heavyweight cotton that handles the altitude and the activity. The Boulder 1871 tee carries the state well from trailhead to town.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is garment-dyed apparel?
Each piece is dyed after it's sewn, not before. This gives Comfort Colors their signature soft, vintage, lived-in feel and rich color from day one. The color gets better with every wash, and slight color variations between pieces are normal and part of what makes each one unique.
Are your Colorado clothing products the same as typical Colorado gift shop sweatshirts?
Not even close. We print exclusively on Comfort Colors, one of the fastest-growing apparel brands in the country. Premium heavyweight garment-dyed apparel that's thicker, softer, and designed to last for years, not a single vacation.
How do I care for Comfort Colors garments?
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors and a mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Skip the bleach, fabric softeners, and high heat. Wash separately the first time as the dye can bleed slightly. They only get softer with age.
Do Comfort Colors tees and sweatshirts shrink?
Comfort Colors are pre-shrunk during the garment-dye process, which significantly reduces future shrinkage. Stick with cold water and low heat in the dryer and you will have no issues.
What is the fit style of Comfort Colors apparel?
Relaxed and slightly oversized with a casual fit. T-shirts are 6.1 oz. heavyweight 100% ring-spun cotton. Hoodies are 9.5 oz. 80/20 cotton-poly blend with a jersey-lined hood. Soft-washed so they feel broken-in from the first wear, not stiff or scratchy. See our Comfort Colors fit guide for full sizing details.
Will the print fade, crack, or peel?
Our designs are direct-to-garment (DTG) printed on pre-shrunk Comfort Colors garments, similar to screen printing but with sharper detail. Each garment is pretreated before printing, and the ink bonds directly into the ring-spun cotton fibers. No cracking, no peeling, no fading.
Do you offer free shipping?
We know shipping costs add up, so we pay shipping on all U.S. orders over $75. Just our way of saying thanks for shopping with a Maine company.
Do you offer wholesale hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts for your Colorado apparel?
Yes. We offer bulk pricing on all of our apparel, including Colorado hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts. Pricing is based on your specific order, and larger quantities mean better pricing. Contact us with your specific needs and quantities and we will put together a quote for you.
Will the colors match exactly what I see on screen?
Product images are digital mockups and may differ slightly from the finished garment. Colors can appear different depending on your screen's settings, and because every Comfort Colors piece is individually garment-dyed, natural shade variation occurs between batches. Print placement and size may also shift slightly from the mockup. These variations are part of what makes garment-dyed apparel unique and are not considered defects.
